Your Vote Matters

 

Make sure you register in time to vote, at least 30 days before the next election. 2018 is going to be a big year for Tennessee, with elections for Governor, US Senate and House representatives.

Tennessee Federal and State Primary Election, County General Election – August 2, 2018

Voter registration Deadline – July 3, 2018
Last day to register to vote for the August 2, federal and state primary election.

Request for an Absentee Ballot – May 4 – July 26
Beginning and end of window to request an absentee or by-mail ballot for the August 2nd election. Find absentee ballot request & submission instructions here.

Absentee Ballot Deadline – July 26
Deadline for receiving a by-mail ballot. Anyone can submit a ballot by mail.

Early Voting – July 13 – 28
Early voting period for August 2 election is July 13 – 28. Early voting locations are different than your official location the day of the election.
